Meet Rev. Bonnie Potter
I am a non denominational minister, Reiki Master & Teacher, and intuitive practitioner. My work also includes Tarot, Akashic Records, and intuitive communication with animals.
For more than two decades, I have supported individuals who are devoted to their own self understanding. Over the years, I have seen how insight, when offered at the right moment, can shift perspective in powerful and lasting ways.
My sessions combine intuitive awareness with energetic attunement. Sometimes the work is reflective and conversational. At other times, it is quiet and restorative. Both are equally important. Insight brings understanding. Energy work helps bring the system back into harmony.
When you sit with me, you are not here for answers handed to you. You are coming for perspective, alignment, and a clearer connection to your own inner knowing, the guidance that already lives within your spirit.
A Life Shaped by Connection
From a young age, I was drawn to connection. I remember walking up to strangers and offering a smile, simply to see their light reflected back to me. That quiet exchange touched something deeper than I understood at the time.
As the years passed, I began to recognize the depth of my sensitivity. I came to understand that I am clairsentient and claircognizant, able to feel what others feel and sense what may be unfolding beneath the surface.
During a season of personal exploration, I began studying meditation and spiritual development, following what felt quietly aligned. Reiki training soon followed, and it felt like a doorway opening. What had always been present within me began to expand in a more intentional way.
What began as a simple desire to connect with others has grown into a lifelong path of study and practice. Over time, I learned to hone my intuitive awareness and now bring that steady, thoughtful presence into every session, offering meaningful support for each person’s unique journey.

Trained since 2001. Completed 4 Levels of Training with Neal Harris in Barrington, IL.
Tarot Reader & Teacher
Trained since 2006.
Taught Tarot at Elgin Community College
2009-10.
Creator of a Tarot Training Manual
Developed in 2008 to assist students in understanding Tarot concepts.
Certified Angel Card Reader
Certified in 2013 through Hay House Online training course.
Akashic Records Reader
Trained in 2014 in the Pathway Prayer Process developed by Linda Howe.
Intuitive Animal Communicator
Trained in 2013 through Relax4Life, Barrington, IL.
Non-Denominational Minister
Ordained Minister in 2002 through Universal Life Church.
How I Work With You
Structured, Yet Intuitive
Each session unfolds in a way that feels most aligned with where you are.
Whether you come for an intuitive reading, Akashic Records reading, or a Reiki treatment, I draw upon both structure and intuition to guide what comes forward in the moment.
Intuitive readings begin with a tarot spread to establish a thoughtful foundation. Akashic Records sessions follow the Pathway Prayer process. Reiki treatments remain true to the traditional Usui practice.
While I honor these forms, our time together is never rigid. It moves naturally, responding to what your spirit is ready to explore.
